 Fantastic Posse translates the theme of joy into an ensemble of three monumental inflatable sculptures installed in the public realm. Embracing a vibrant, abstract aesthetic, the group of "creatures" acts as a bold visual manifesto dedicated to playfulness and the rediscovery of shared urban space.


Conceptually, the project draws inspiration from David Foster Wallace’s parable ("This is Water"), suggesting that joy is not a distant goal, but a constant, latent presence in everyday life. The choice of pneumatic structures directly reflects this metaphor: these expressive forms gain volume and presence exclusively through air. The thin, brightly colored membrane is the only boundary between the public space and the internal volume of the sculptures, serving as a reminder that the medium giving them life is the exact same atmosphere we move through together. The installation ultimately stands as an invitation to pause, interact, and recognize the shared environment surrounding us.
